The 7200e features Citizen's patented new Active Ribbon Control and Positioning System, USB, Ethernet and WiFi interfaces and increased processing speed for the most complex of labels. The ARCP system eliminates ribbon wrinkling while printing and removes any wrinkles introduced during ribbon loading within inches of running. Registration is improved because of Accurate Print Positioning that eliminates slippage between ribbon and different types of media. The 7200e's standard IEEE1284 parallel and RS232C serial interfaces have faster baud rates. And, in addition to the standard USB connection, internal Ethernet and WiFi interfaces are also available as easy to install options. The main processor performs at twice the speed of similar printers and the IEEE1284 parallel interface operates at up to five times faster than existing connections. The True Type Renderer and Flash Memory included as standard with the 7200e makes it ideal for storing downloaded true-type fonts and graphics.
