This is not the same cable as a regular bi-directional 1284 printer cable. The Micro-Centronics standard is only supported by a few printer manufacturers like Canon. MOST MANUFACTURERS DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STANDARD. Please double-check before ordering. IEEE 1284 Compliant IBM Parallel Printer A-to-C Cable, 6 feet long. An 'A-to-C' cable has a DB25 male connector on one side and a 36-position micro-Centronics connector on the other side. It is bi-directional.
