SDB-2.1 Dual Source 2 Pair Speaker Selector with Zone Volume
Controls.
The SDB-2.1 is a highly efficient dual source, impedance-matching
speaker selector. This high quality speaker selector is designed
for use with either 4 or 8 ohm speakers and includes a volume
control for each pair of speakers on the front panel. This volume
control allows you to set and forget the pre-amplifier/receiver
volume and use the volume controls on the SDB-2.1 to control the
listening level in each room from a central location. The A/B
switch for each zone allows each pair of speakers to be driven
individually from either of two amplifiers. The ON/OFF switch for
each pair of speakers allows a set volume to be maintained while
turning on and off individual rooms.
Utilizing audio-grade impedance-matching autoformers, the SDB-2.1 is
capable of maintaining a safe operating load at the amplifier while
distributing maximum power throughout your system. The SDB-2.1 is
equipped with internal jumpers to choose the degree of impedance
matching based on the impedance of your speakers and the amplifiers
impedance requirements.
