APC UPS units that are six years of age or less (serial numbers 9501 or younger), can receive new user-replaceable, premium batteries and reactivate the two-year warranty on the complete UPS, including a $25,000 equipment protection guarantee. In addition, the program includes a bundled software upgrade to the latest version of APC's award-winning PowerChute plus software, which dramatically enhances the reliability of a computer system and its applications by automatically protecting system and data integrity during a power crisis. Purchasing a genuine APC Replacement Battery will ensure factory-spec performance for your UPS. Off brand batteries may affect UPS voltage regulation, run time, and provide unpredictable results. APC supplies the appropriate instructions for your UPS, along with any needed wires. All connections are made with high current gas-tight crimps for high reliability. APC recycles used batteries and nearly all of the battery lead content is reused, protecting the environment.
